6 slices bacon
1/2 cup onion chopped
2 (16-ounce) cans pork and beans
1 pound hot dogs or smoked sausages, cut in 1-inch pieces
1 (12-ounce) bottle JJ’s Pantry Whiskey Peach BBQ Sauce
Preheat oven to 400°.
Fry bacon set aside. Sauté onion in bacon drippings.
Drain onion and place in a 2-quart casserole. Add beans, hot dogs and Sauce. Gently stir to thoroughly mix ingredients. Sprinkle bacon over the top.
Bake for 1 hour or until beans are bubbly and juice has thickened.
Can also be cooked in a crock pot.
