Quick Bread & Scone Mixes

You will be amazed how quick and easy JJ’s Pantry Scone Mixes turn out yummy scones, pancakes, coffeecake, bread, muffins and shortcake! To prepare, just add butter, water, eggs or egg substitute. (Look for recipes on our website!)

To make Scones: Grab a bowl and a spoon; no fancy mixer needed! Heat oven to 425°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray or grease with shortening. Combine Mix with 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream and one egg. Stir until soft dough forms. Pat into 8-inch circle on cookie sheet (if dough is sticky, just dip your fingers in flour). Brush circle with additional whipping cream and sprinkle with a little sugar if desired. Cut into 8 wedges, but do not separate. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully separate slices; serve warm.
